Masterclass – Introduction to Sand Casting
Overview
Please read the full Terms of Booking, and particularly the REFUNDS policy within those terms BEFORE making your booking.Â
The sand casting process has been brought up to date in the 21st century using specially prepared sand enabling  casting of one off pieces by hand in precious metals, to produce unique pieces of jewellery.
This whole day workshop will take you through all the stages of sand casting on Saturday 22nd February 2025 from 10am-4pm.
You will have time to make multiple castings dependent on what silver scrap and/or silver grain you have.
I have a selection of items suitable to cast from that are available for you to use, and you are welcome to bring your own items as well.
Please note that we will not have time to create finished pieces from your castings, this workshop will be focused on mould making and casting skills only.
Unlimited refreshments are included, please provide your own lunch.
You must provide your own CLEAN silver scrap (no old bits of jewellery please) and/or casting grain to use on the day.
