Explore and develop your love of natural textures and botanicals in this one day class.  You will be introduced to the simple yet effective techniques of reticulation and fusing to create natural textures in making either tree bark with lichen and/or a leaf pendant in sterling silver.

Please bring your own silver sheet, at least 50 x  50 mm (0.7mm thick), silver ring blanks (0.9mm thickness) 10mm wide by 65 mm length, some 0.8mm /1.5 mm round wire and some clean scrap silver to use (to add embellishments and detail to your work).

If you’d like to make a leaf pendant please bring a small actual leaf with you to copy.

Masterclasses are designed for students who have completed our beginners course as it relies on the foundation skills of soldering and forming already being in place. This class requires competent use of a gas torch, jewellery saw, a steady hand and good eyesight. (Basic skills will not be covered in this class.)

Tea and coffee making facilities are available throughout the session, please provide your own lunch.
