Stone Setting Introduction with Marlies White

Explore and develop a love of  precious and semi-precious gemstones, in our introduction to stone setting class with expert jeweller Marlies White. You will be introduced to the simple yet effective techniques of tube setting a faceted stone and making a stone set ring in a specific size. Together we will create a single stone setting with CZ, learning the foundation skills necessary to produce a ring to wear home. This taster session would suit people with previous experience of jewellery making, who wish to further extend their skills, making a tube set cubic zirconium silver ring in this day long workshop. All tools and materials will be provided Only 8 spaces are available on this six hour session, 10am until 4pm.
